Herriman Celebrates Whirled Peace Day

We hope you had a chance to see all the creative pinwheels made by students at Herriman Elementary in honor of Whirled Peace Day.  We even had a special visit from our Mayor, Carmen Freeman.  A big thank you to Mrs. Coyle for pulling this activity together.

Way to Go Math Team!

Congratulations to our Herriman Elementary Math Team for competing in this year's  Math Tournament.  These students practiced every other Friday AFTER school to enhance their already amazing math skills.  The competition was held April 3 at Daybreak Elementary.  Herriman's 8 teams joined together with schools from across the district to compete against a total of 60 teams!  This year's scores were incredible! A special congratulations to Ethan Katz, who won the award for the Highest Scoring 4th Grade Student in the Individual Competition.  We are so proud of all of their hard work and dedication.  Way to go Hawks!
