School Registration

All children attending Herriman Elementary (2015-2016) must fill out the Registration for Schools annually.  Registering your children insures that we have the most updated emergency information and also allows your children access to the internet during computer class time.

Registration must be completed between August 3 and September 13, 2015.

Bike to School Day

2015 Bike (or Walk) to School Day

Please join us on Wednesday, May 6 for Bike to School Day!  Local police and fire officials will greet students on campus, where they will receive a healthy snack for participating.  Parents and younger siblings are encouraged to participate, too.  If you bike, remember to wear a helmet!
If you don’t have a bike, you can still participate by walking.

Herriman Elementary was fortunate to have participated in the Thanksgiving Point Tulips Journey North program this year.  Each student was able to plant and observe tulip gardens at our school.  These observations were uploaded online and tracked globally!  After the tulips are gone, the Hawk Leadership Team will be planting vegetables to donate to a local food bank.

Final Shoe Drive Total

We want to thank everyone in our Herriman Community for helping our students collect 2,716 pairs of shoes.  We also want to thank Miss Riverton, Amber Barron, for allowing us to collaborate with her and help the Miss Utah Organization and the Shoes for Africa project.  Students had fun bringing in pairs of shoes, lining them up along the hallways, and seeing the total number of pairs grow each day!

To read about the success of the project in the Deseret News, click HERE.

To keep track of Miss Riverton and her progress, click HERE.  You can also “like” her page on Facebook – it’s called ‘STEM Not Only For Men.’

If you are interested in continued collaboration with the Shoes for Africa project, drop your shoes off at any of these alternate locations:
